This group is a facilitator led peer support group to start this coming fall (2026). The intention is create a space for transgender humans to feel seen, heard, understood, and supported. It’s for those who are seeking group based care, and to be in community with like-minded humans.
The format and frequency of group will be determined by interest and availability of members who have signed up via the link on this page. We can not guarantee the group time will work for every individual who has expressed interest, but will make every effort to choose times/dates that align with the majority.
The therapeutic facilitators for this group are Registered Psychologists Adrienne Krause (she/her) and Stephen Sills (he-him). We are both cis-gendered, trans allied therapists passionate about accessible, anti-oppressive care, and providing our expertise in therapeutic relational support. Our role within the group is to provide a warm and safe environment, establish group guidelines/consent, help to manage conversation flow, and help to foster peer connection, without directly participating in the conversation, offering advice, or taking a centering role. As support group facilitators, we will not provide any psychological treatment, diagnosis, or advice.
